Choir practice from the comfort of your living room
Hey kiddos,
Thanks for coming to practice! Knowing that you are practicing will help me enjoy the snow day better!
You Can't Stop the Beat - watch the Choreography on YouTube if your parents are OK with that.
- Get that Choreography perfect! Make sure you are RIGHT with me!
- Make sure you are SMILING!
Please practice Close Every Door:
- Practice your cut offs! Listen for those "t" consonants.
- Also, keep your really tall vowels! Place your hand on the side of your face during the "ah" sections, just like we've been doing in practice.
- Be sure to sing YOUR part. Both parts are on the recording.
- Don't sing the solo part unless it is yours!
The Circle of Life:
- Practice this one the most! Really be sure you know the song all the way through.
- Don't sing the solos unless you have one!
- Try and make sure you hold the notes as long as I do. Put the ending consonants on at the same time I do!
76 Trombones
- I want to hear those mouths moving all the way from my living room in Independence! Really work on your enunciation (making your words fast and clear) during this song.
- TUBAS: Your part got higher. Sing it the same way I do!
- If you get lost during the instrument part, don't worry too much. We'll make this sound great when we get back to school!
